By the end of 4 weeks, anyone — regardless of experience — will be able to read financials, understand value, communicate with owners, and recognize real opportunities in small businesses and real estate.

What Will You Learn?

  • Earn from referrals, analysis, or buying deals smartly

Course Content

🗓️ WEEK 1 — Business Fundamentals: Reading the Numbers
Goal: Build confidence with financial basics. You’ll Learn: • How to read a Profit & Loss (P&L) in plain language • Understanding the Balance Sheet and what it reveals about a business’s health • What Gross Profit really means (vs. revenue) • What Cash Flow really is and why most owners ignore it • SDE & discretionary add-backs: how owners legally reduce taxes Outcome: You will be able to look at a small business’s financials and actually understand how the business is performing — without feeling lost or intimidated.

🗓️ WEEK 2 — Understanding Value: How Businesses Are Priced
Goal: Learn how value really works. You’ll Learn: • SDE × Industry Multiple (the real valuation formula) • Why two $2M businesses can be worth $400K or $4M • What drives value up (systems, management, stability, low risk) • What destroys value (owner dependency, concentration, cash issues) • How to spot red flags in financials and operations • The difference between a good business and a good deal Outcome: You will understand what makes a business valuable, risky, overpriced, or worth pursuing.

🗓️ WEEK 3 — Owner Psychology & Conversation Frameworks
Goal: Learn how to talk to owners the right way. You’ll Learn: • The emotional side of business ownership (fear, pride, fatigue) • How to build trust and avoid sounding like a broker or opportunist • Conversation frameworks that make owners open up • The 5 questions that uncover motivation to sell • How to talk about numbers with confidence (even as a beginner) Outcome: You will be able to speak with business owners respectfully, confidently, and intelligently — as a trusted resource, not a salesperson.

🗓️ WEEK 4 — Real Opportunities: Business & Real Estate Wealth
Goal: Learn how to find and profit from opportunities, even as a beginner. You’ll Learn: • Where motivated sellers come from • The difference between “available” and “opportune” businesses • Business referral income — how to get paid without being the broker • Real estate strategies tied to business ownership • How to buy real estate using other people’s money (OPM) with little credit • How to evaluate simple fix-and-flip or BRRR opportunities Outcome: You will know how to generate income from deals (even without owning a business), and how to recognize real estate opportunities tied to business and cash flow.
